Marraké ("we", "our", "us") is a beauty brand being launched in India. We are the Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect
- First name — to personalise communications.
- Email address — required; used to send launch updates and announcements.
- Phone number — optional; may be used for SMS updates if you choose to provide it.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (as defined under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023) through this website.
3. Why we collect it (purpose)
The sole purpose of data collection at this stage is to send you:
- Early-access notifications and launch date announcements.
- Exclusive founder-only updates about Marraké.
We will not use your data for any other purpose without obtaining fresh consent from you.
4. Legal basis — your consent
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), we process your personal data only on the basis of your free, informed, specific and unambiguous consent, given when you tick the consent checkbox and submit the waiting-list form.
You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by emailing customer@marrake.in. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
5. How we store and protect your data
Your data is stored by our email/list service provider (e.g. Formspree / Mailchimp / Klaviyo) and is not shared with any other third party, except as required by law. Service providers are bound by their own privacy and security policies.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
6. How long we keep your data
We retain your data for as long as you remain on the waiting list or until you withdraw consent. After the brand launches, we will ask for fresh consent before including you in any marketing programme.
7. Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023
As a Data Principal, you have the right to:
- Access — request a summary of personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten).
- Withdraw consent — at any time, with immediate effect on future processing.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint if you believe your rights have been infringed.

8. Cookies
This website does not currently use cookies or any tracking scripts.
9. Children's data
Our waiting list is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, please contact us immediately for deletion.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the brand evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
